This series is questioning the western philosophical tradition of misogyny, the idea women need to be contained, they leak and can’t be trusted. This painting was reverse painted on transparent acetate with gouache. Hegel the philosopher’s  portrait is painted on the teacup. Waterlilies surround the woman.
